Carers Employment

Over the last 5 years we have opened a new area within our business by providing specialist Carers to a number of organisations. Our carers are of the highest standard and we follow strict guidelines in order to provide the best carers for our clients. To be a Harvey Recruitment Carer, all candidates must have the following qualifications/certificates:

  • Level III and or IV in Community Care Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Current National Police Certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable car
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Completion of the Department for Child Protection Screening Clearance
Our carers are available to work for either a number of hours (minimum of 4 hours), days, weeks, or ongoing and most have been working on 24 hours shifts in family group home situations to accommodate children ranging from 3-18 years of age who cannot live at home. The aim of our Carers is to provide the highest standard of care and ensure the best outcomes for the children they care for.

At Harvey Recruitment Australia our aim is simple – it is to listen to our Client’s needs and requirements so that our Carers are able to enhance the lives of those they serve by offering professional, practical and reliable assistance that meets individual needs. Carers can work on a one to one basis or with small groups of children/youth.

We have provided carers to the St. John of God Foundation, Horizon House, Accordwest, Centrecare, Mercycare, Lifestyle Solutions, UnitingCare West etc. in the metropolitan area, and in the southern and northern areas of the state with an extremely high satisfaction rate.

We also cater for disability care, home care and aged care.
